Wasim Akram is a leading former cricketer and captain of Pakistan. He was born on June 3, 1966 in Lahore, Punjab. He was initially an outstanding left arm fast bowler and left handed batsman. Akram deemed as one of the greatest fast bowlers always and evermore. He has taken most of the wickets in the international matches. He took over the five hundred wickets in the one day internationals and over the four hundred wickets in tests.
Akram deliberated in one of the greatest reverse swing bowling. He is second only to Muttiah Muralitharan in the one day internationals. Akram made his test premiere against the New Zealand in the year 1985 and one day international entrance that was also against the New Zealand in the year 1984. Akram was also skilled in the bating and regarded as bowling all-rounder. His reverse swing bowling took many important wickets behind the Pakistan’s world Cup victory in the year 1992 taking nineteen wickets in just seven matches. Akram came to be a top bowler of the World Cup 2003 and the Pakistan national cricket team. Then he took retirement.
