Vangipurappu Venkata Sai Laxman is a former cricketer of the national cricket team. He was born on 1st November, 1974, in Hyderabad, Andhra Pradesh, India. Laxman is popularly known as VVS Laxman and also plays domestic cricket for Hyderabad.
He is a right handed middle order batsman and sometimes bowls off spin. Laxman is a star cricketer and great batsman of India. He married to G.R Sailaja. They have a son and a daughter. His father and mother both are doctors. He captained for a year of the team Deccan Chargers in the Indian Premier League. Laxman is an able to his outstanding timing and to hit against spin. He is an aggressive most for his batting against Australia.
Laxman made one hundred sixty seven runs against Australia in the year 2000. He has played over hundred tests for India during his cricket career, but unfortunately he didn’t play cricket in Cricket World Cup.
