Rohan Sunil Gavaskar is a professional cricketer of the Indian national cricket team. He was born on 20th February, 1976 in Uttar Pradesh.
He is a good left handed middle order batsman and occasional slow left arm orthodox bowler.
Gavaskar selected first time for the team India during Australia’s tour in the year 2004 where he made his first one day international premiere.
Gavaskar represented the Bengal in domestic cricket in a Raniji Trophy. He 
has played eleventh one day international matches till now scoring just one hundred fifty one runs.
Gavaskar signed a contract with Indian Cricket League to playing for team Kolkata Tigers. He married to his childhood close girlfriend or sweetheart Swati Mankar.
