R. P. Singh
Rudra Pratap Singh is an Indian cricketer of the team national India. He was born on 6th December, 1985 in Rae Bareli, Uttar Pradesh.
Singh is a right handed batsman and prominent left arm fast medium bowler. He took remarkable wickets and best batsman making good records in international cricket.
Singh was encouraged by his father to play cricket. His father Shiv Pratap Singh is an operator in the technical wing of the Indian Technical Institute. Singh has two sisters Deepa and Akanksha.
Singh made his first test debut against Pakistan in the year 2006 where he took five wickets in the second test and announced the man of the match.
He made his one day international debut against Zimbabwe in the year 2005.
Singh has given tremendous performance during the India 
under-19 World Cup in Bangladesh in the year 2004 taking eight wickets with a marvelous average of 24.75.
Singh preferred to play in the ICC World Twenty20 tournament in South Africa in the year 2007. Where he took twelve wickets in the seven matches and came to be second highest wicket taker in the whole competition.
Singh initialed in the Indian Premier League for the team Deccan Chargers and delivered better performance in twenty20 matches. Where he also took twenty three wickets in just sixteen matches and became back a second highest wicket taker in the whole competition.
