She quickly got success in bowling and became good slow left arm orthodox bowler and along with good bats woman. She captained of Indian women’s cricket team. She has played twenty test matches and thirty four one day international matches for India. Edulji made her test debut for India’s women team against the West Indies women team in the year 1976 and one day international debut against the England’s women team in year 1978. She had taken over sixty wickets during her cricket career and her best bowling figure taking six wickets in just sixty four runs.
