Syed Mohammed

Syed Mohammed Hadi was one of the most famous athletes of India. He was born on 12th August, 1899 in Hyderabad, Andhra Pradesh, India. Hadi played not only cricket and tennis but was also expert in the field hockey, soccer, table tennis, chess and polo and represented India. Through the proficiency in these seven sports, his nicknamed was Rainbow Hadi. Hadi was the great Indian cricketer. His father Captain Syed Mohammed was an officer in Paigah army in Hyderabad State.

His father was passed away when he was just two years old. He learned horse riding as a youth and also played soccer for his college. He was the first Indian tennis player who competed in Olympics in year 1924. Hadi also represented India in cricket and was an aggressive batsman who played many matches in India. He was the member of Hyderabad Football Association and the Hyderabad Cricket Association. He was god gifted man who expert in these sports and represented India at the international level.
