Stephen John Rixon is a former cricketer of Australia. He was born on 25th February, 1954 in Albury, New South Wales. He is a right handed batsman and initially an exceptional wicket keeper. Rixon was a lower order batsman in the team Australia. He has played thirteen tests, six one day internationals for Australia and played one hundred fifty one first class matches in his entire cricket career. Rixon commenced to play for New South Wales then he came into the Australian team in the year 1977 as a wicket keeper.
Rixon made his test premiere against the India in the year 1977 and his one day international beginning was against the West Indies in the year 1978. Rixon took retirement from international cricket. He has been a coach of the New Zealand cricket team, New South Wales, Surrey, and The Scots College, Sydney. He is at present coaching in the Indian Cricket League for the team Hyderabad Heroes.
