Srinivas Venkataraghavan

Srinivasaraghavan Venkataraghavan is a former international cricketer of the India. He was born on 21st April, 1945 in Madras, India. He was a right handed batsman and primarily right arm off spin bowler. Venkataraghavan played in English county cricket for Derbyshire afterwards; he played tests and one day internationals for India. He subsequent became an umpire and officiated in seventy three tests matches and fifty two one day internationals.

Venkataraghavan made his test premiere against the New Zealand in the year 1965 and one day international beginning that was against the England in the year 1974. Venkataraghavan played his rearmost test against the Pakistan in the year 1983 and final one day international was against the West Indies in the same year. He was the Indian superior spin bowler along with also an excellent fielder.

Venkataraghavan has played fifty seven tests and fifteen one day internationals for India. He has played also in over the three hundred forty first class matches. Venkataraghavan has taken one hundred fifty six wickets in test and five wickets in one day international matches from his striking bowling in the course of his cricket career.
