Sreesanth is an Indian cricketer of the national cricket team. He was born on 6th February, 1983 in Kothamangalam, Kerala. Sreesanth is primarily a right arm fast medium pace bowler and a right handed batsman. He plays domestic cricket for Kerala. His nicknames are Sree and Gopu. He is known to bowl at speeds 142 km/h. Sreesanth highness is 5.8ft. He is a first Kerala Ranji player to play Twenty20 cricket for India. He was a leg spinner in his childhood.
Sreesanth was a break-dancer and had become a national champion. He made his test premiere against England in the year 2006 and one day international appearance that was against Shri Lanka in the year 2005 Sreesanth is associated with the Kings XI Punjab in the Indian Premier League. He slapped by an Indian spinner Harbhajan Singh in the year 2008, during the IPL Matches. Harbhajan Singh from Mumbai Indians, lost a match against the Kings XI Punjab then Harbhajan slapped to Shrisanth under his eye, because Sreesanth allegedly abusing him.
Sreesanth’s shoulder was injured during the third test match that was against Australia in the year 2007 and doctor said that it is a stress fracture of his lower back. Sreesanth has not played for the last eleven months due to various injuries. He has still not recovered from back injury.
