Ravi Shastri

Ravishankar Jayadrith Shastri is a former cricketer of Indian national cricket team. He was born on 27th May, 1962 in Bombay, Maharashtra, India. He was right handed batsman and slow left arm orthodox bowler. Shastri had great skills of hostile bating, and he was also a good spinner. Shastri was regarded the greatest cricket player and all rounder for all time.

Shastri was a merely as a bowler, but progressively he became a enormous opening batsman. He played an exceptional role in demanding situations and helped to the Indian cricket team to offensive against opposition. Shastri made a matchless record of to hit six sixes in an over in first class cricket. His height is 6.3ft tall. His father M. Jayadratha Shastri was a doctor.

Shastri is famously recognized for his beating up shots. He made his test premiere against New Zealand in the year 1981 and one day international appearance was against England in the same year. Shastri played his last one day international that was against South Africa in the year 1992. He was captained for a one match, which he won against the West Indies in the year 1987-88. Currently, He works in the media as a commentator.
