Nariman Jamshedji is an Indian former first class cricketer and also a former international cricketer of India. He was born on 7th March, 1934 in Godhra, Gujarat, India. Contractor was a left handed opening batsman and right arm medium bowler of India. His international cricket career was finished by his serious injury. He was commenced his cricket career to play first class cricket.
Contractor was played thirty one test matches, scoring sixteen hundred eleven runs in which included, top scores of one hundred eight runs for India and one hundred thirty eight first class matches, scoring eight thousand six hundred eleven runs in which included, top scores of one hundred seventy six runs in his cricket career. He captained the team India. Currently, he coaches at the Cricket Club of India Academy. He is from Parsi religion or Zoroastrian community of India.
