Mohammad Azharuddin is a former cricketer and captain of Indain national cricket team. He was born on 8th of February, 1968 in Hyderabad (Andhra Pradesh), India. Azharuddin was a former right handed batsman and right arm medium bowler. He made twenty two centuries in test matches and seven centuries in one day international matches during his cricket career.
Azharuddin recently wedded second time to former miss India and TV actress Sangeeta Bijlani. His first married with Naureen and after seven years of marriage, he divorced. Whom he had two sons, Asad and Ayaz and now both are playing cricket for their state teams. Azharuddin has been one of the players of the team India and in the world, who took one hundred fifty six catches in one day international cricket.
Azharuddin is an only player who has played three hundred one day international matches. He was awarded by the wisden cricketers of the year in year 1991 and many more achievements; he obtained during in his cricket life. Azharuddin was a lucky cricketer for India’s team. Statistically one of the best cricket players & captain of India. India got to win in fourteen test matches and one hundred three one day international matches during his captainship.
Azharuddin made his test debut against England in year 1984 and One Day International debut against England in year 1985. He had a bright future in the cricket, but his career moved down through his alleged involvement in a match fixing scandal. After some time, he was found innocent in the Indian court of law but In the year 2000 The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) banned on Azharuddin from playing Cricket for his lifetime. Recently, he enlisted in Indian National Congress Party.
