Matthew Lawrence Hayden is a leading former cricketer of the Australian cricket team. He was born on October 29, 1971 in Kingaroy, Queensland. His nickname is Haydos. Hayden is a former opening batsman of the team Australia and right arm medium bowler. He is an aggressive and dominant Left handed batsman of Australia’s national cricket team. Hayden made his test appearance against South Africa in the year 1994 and made his one day International opening against England in the year 1993. His last one day international innings was against India in the year 2008.
Hayden has played one hundred three test matches and one hundred sixty one day international matches for Australia during his cricket career. Hayden made eight thousand six hundred twenty five runs in all test matches and six thousand one hundred thirty three runs in all one day international matches for Australia. Hayden has played also almost three hundred first class cricket matches in which, he made his best bowling figure of taking three wickets, giving just ten runs.
He keeps unequaled record for a highest score made by an Australian batsman both test matches, scoring three hundred eighty runs and one day international match, scoring one hundred eighty runs without getting not out.

Hayden initialed to play twenty20 matches for the Chennai Super Kings in the Indian Premier League. He is currently a one of the best players of Indian Premier League. He formally announced in a conference and took retirement in the year 2009.
