Lakshmipathy Balaji

Lakshmipathy Balaji is a leading cricketer of the Indian national cricket team. He was born on 27th September, 1981 in Madras, Tamil Nadu, India. He is primarily a right arm fast medium bowler and right handed batsman. Balaji became a part of the national cricket team in year 2003. His best bowling figure taking five wickets giving seventy six runs in a test match and taking four wickets in just giving forty eight runs in one day international match.

Balaji was a first recognized by his massive act in India Pakistan test series in the year 2004 taking twelve wickets in just three test matches and this majestic appearance made him famous cricketer in the cricket history. He made his test beginning against New Zealand in the year 2003 and one day international entrance against West Indies in the year 2002.

Balaji has played eight test matches taking superbly twenty seven wickets and played twenty nine one day international matches taking thirty four wickets till now. He didn’t play for a year because he terribly injured, through this his career on hold.

Later in year 2008 he signed in the Indian Premier League, where he played for Chennai Super Kings. He has the ability to swinging bowling and fast bowling and through these outstanding abilities. he has become a first bowler in the Indian Premier League.
