Bishen Singh Bedi

Bishen Singh Bedi is a former cricketer of Indian national cricket team. He was born on 25th September, 1946 in Amritsar. He was a right handed batsman and primarily a slow left arm orthodox bowler. He has captained in many test matches of national side. His best test bowling was against Australia taking seven wickets in just ninety eight runs.

Bedi made his test entrance for India against West Indies in year 1966 and one day international beginning against England in year 1974. His last test was against England in a year 1979 and last one day international against Shri Lanka in a same year. He played domestic cricket for his major teams Delhi, Northampton shire and Northern Punjab. He had a good talent to give well spin bowling performance.
